Pizza ē Vino in Irene Village Mall: A Perfect Pet-Friendly Day

Share

Our visit to Pizza ē Vino in Irene Village Mall was a delightful blend of great food, warm ambiance, and quality time with my best friend and our furry companion, Toffie.

The overall vibe of Pizza ē Vino was inviting and cozy. As we were warmly welcomed and seated outside, we immediately noticed the charming décor, like wine bottles doubling as a wall, which added a unique touch. The restaurant itself is quite spacious with two floors and ample outdoor seating, perfect for enjoying the fresh air and a pleasant view.

Irene Village Mall is pet-friendly, making it a perfect spot for an outing with Toffie. The restaurant’s Italian vibes were evident in every detail, from the OG fire oven where pizzas are baked to the open kitchen where we could watch our meals being prepared. The fluffy blankets on the chairs outside were a thoughtful touch, especially on a windy day, keeping us cozy as we dined.

The service at Pizza ē Vino was exceptional. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, quickly clearing our table and bringing out our food with a smile. Toffie was also well taken care of, with a cute bowl of water placed next to our table. It was these little touches that made our experience even more enjoyable.

We indulged in delicious Belgian chocolate mochas that struck the perfect balance between chocolate and coffee.

We started with a lemon and herb focaccia, which was fresh, garlicky, and divine, especially when paired with balsamic vinegar.

For the main course, we ordered the Melrose Arch pizza (topped with chicken, avo, feta, honey, and cherry tomatoes) and the Bianchino ai Funghi pizza (featuring parmesan cream, wild mushrooms, goat cheese, thyme, and pickled onion). Both pizzas were crispy, generously topped, and baked to perfection in the wood-fired oven.

While Toffie didn’t have any pet-specific amenities, he was content exploring the area and then napping under the blankets between us. He received numerous compliments for being cute and well-behaved, adding to the pleasant atmosphere.

The Bianchino ai Funghi pizza was an unexpected favourite. Its deliciousness caught us off guard, even though everything we ate was superb. Toffie thoroughly enjoyed being part of the adventure. After our meal, we strolled through the mall, allowing him some sniff and explore time. He was delighted, especially since there were other well-behaved dogs to greet along the way.

I would highly recommend Irene Village Mall and Pizza ē Vino to anyone who loves good food and good company. Just remember to bring a poopy bag for your dog, as we learned the hard way! While Pizza ē Vino provided warm blankets, it’s a good idea to bring your own if you plan to dine at other restaurants during the colder months.

Our lovely Sunday morning friend date was a perfect blend of catching up and enjoying the delightful offerings at Pizza ē Vino. We can’t wait to return for another round of delicious food and fun with Toffie <3
